1. My earliest memories include getting tea sets for Christmas and having tea with my mother each weekday. My older brothers off to school, dishes washed, house cleaned, time for tea and the afternoon soap operas. I treasure these memories. Take some time soon to have tea with a family member or loved one in a unique or special way. Have some uniquely creative pictures taken or take the most creative selfie imaginable during this time. Forward it to me at Derelle.Shaw@Gmail.com for display right here. ENJOY!!

2. One song that has tremendously impacted the African American experience is known as Negro National Anthem, Lift Every Voice and Sing. Learn the lyrics of the song, and be prepared to sing it with us at our event on June 24.

3. At the event, The's teas, The's treats, and The's sweets will be served.  Say the emboldened  tongue twister portion of the previous sentence as fast as you can and without error.  Record your attempts and share a video by sending it to the email address above.

4. Tell everyone you know to join us for Tea, The' and Me, June 24, 2017, 2:30 pm.

Following tradition, greatgrand, "Madam,," nicknamed after the inventor, held a tea with her babies and her beautiful mother. She donned a large hat, to make it a British-styled tea.
